Worksheet

Estimate versus actual variance sheet

A single worksheet gives each finished job its own row and each cost line its own column. The columns are stock, make-ready sheets, run spoilage, finishing hours, outside supplier, delivery and total. Each column holds estimate, actual and difference. A last column names the main cause, such as loose register, substitute stock or supplier surcharge.
