Client Portal for a CA Practice

Clients upload the papers a firm has requested and see what is still pending from their side. They can also see their own filings and bills, and no other client’s records.

What a client sees

Papers requested

A document request lists the papers needed for a job, and whoever signs in sees that list together with what is still awaited from their side.

Uploads

Files uploaded land against the request, on the right job, so papers that used to arrive scattered across chat messages are kept together in one place.

Filings and bills

Their own filings are visible, along with the bills raised on them.

What the firm sees

Uploads appear on the job with the request that asked for them, and every reminder is counted against that request. Clients chased repeatedly surface on the partner’s screen. Staff can see which papers are in, which are still awaited and how often the client has been asked.

Kept apart from other clients

A client signs in to see only their own records, and another client is never shown, even where two clients belong to one group. How group entities are shown to a family’s own contact is agreed during scoping. Staff rights are separate and follow their role in the firm.

What the firm decides

Reminders are reviewed

Requests and reminders carry the client’s name, the papers wanted and your firm’s name, and a team member reviews each one before it goes out by WhatsApp or email.

Portal use is optional

Some clients will keep sending papers by chat. The firm decides which clients are invited and what each is shown.
