Services and Fee Terms for CA Clients
This module records the services agreed with each client, how often each recurs and the fee attached. A fee can be a monthly retainer, a rate per filing or a charge per assignment.
What is recorded for each service
Where the terms are used
The services on a master feed the rest of the practice. Recurring jobs for the year are raised from them, with due dates taken from your firm’s rules. Bills are raised from the fee that was agreed. The reports compare work done for a client with the fee agreed for it. One entry on the master therefore does three jobs.
Entered at onboarding
Services and fees are recorded when a client is onboarded, in the same master as the PAN, GSTIN and registrations. Existing clients come in from Excel or your current sheets, with their services and fees where those are held. Office staff keep the terms current. A partner can see what each client has agreed to without asking for the engagement file.

Frequently asked questions
Can one client have different fee terms for different services?
Yes. Each service on the master carries its own fee, so a client can pay a retainer for one service and a per filing rate for another.
Do the services create the filing jobs?
Yes. Recurring jobs for the year are raised from the services on the master, and one-off work is added by hand.
Is the fee list priced by GullySystem?
No. Fees are the firm’s own. GullySystem only stores the terms you give it.
Can the fee for a client be changed later?
Yes. Office staff can update the terms on the master. How revisions are recorded is agreed with the firm during implementation.
