Settling attendance before payroll runs
Attendance, overtime and leave are settled during the month, so that payroll does not have to chase them at the end. When the month closes, the figures per person are locked. Payroll then receives one sheet. Salary itself is calculated in the payroll software or by the client’s consultant.

Managers sign off the month for their teams. Once signed off, the figures are locked. HR exports the sheet in the format the payroll software or consultant asks for. The format is agreed during implementation, and a closed month is checked against the client’s own sheet before go-live.
What stays with payroll
This product is not a payroll engine. It prepares the month and later holds the payslips that payroll produces. Salary calculation, PF and ESI filing, and any notice that follows stay with the client’s payroll software or consultant.

Which formats can the export take?

Can figures change after the month is locked?
That is fixed with the client while the system is set up. The month is locked after manager sign-off, so a later change is a deliberate step by HR. It is not an accident.
Does it calculate the salary?
No. It supplies days present, overtime, leave and loss of pay per person. Payroll software or the consultant works out salary.
Do payslips come back into the system?
Yes. Once salary is released, each person sees the payslip on their own login, along with earlier payslips and the tax forms the accountant issues.
