What the Event Software Connects To
The event system connects to WhatsApp, Google Calendar, UPI and bank transfer records, Excel files and Tally. Each connection depends on how the company already works, which is reviewed during scoping.
What it connects to
What depends on the other system
A WhatsApp message needs your number and the person who reviews it. A calendar entry needs the calendar account that will receive it. A Tally export depends on how your ledgers are laid out in the books that the accountant keeps. Each one rests on a system outside GullySystem. That is why it is confirmed early.
What is confirmed during scoping
- Which messages leave on WhatsApp, and who reviews them
- Which events go to Google Calendar, and what travels
- How payment records are entered or brought in
- Columns in the vendor and rate lists to be imported
- The format of the Tally export
What it does not do
It is not a ticketing site, and it does not sell passes or registrations online. It does not replace Tally. Vendors do not get a login, and messages to them go from your number on WhatsApp. A first review can list the connections the company needs.
Frequently asked questions
Does WhatsApp send messages on its own?
No. Messages can leave from your number, and a team member reviews them before they are sent.
Can event dates appear in Google Calendar?
Yes. Event dates can go across to a calendar. The setup, and what is shared, is settled during configuration.
Can we import our vendor and rate lists?
Yes. Vendors and rate cards come in from Excel, along with advances already paid on running events.
Is the Tally export included?
An export can be built at set-up. Its format is worked out with the accountant or whoever keeps the books.
