The Claimant’s Own Screen in Expense Software
Each person sees their own claims, their status, any open advance and the date of payment. Questions to accounts about where a claim stands are answered on the screen itself.
A view limited to the person
A claimant opens the system in a phone browser and sees only their own record. No app is installed, and the phone’s camera is used for the bill. Field engineers and sales executives use it on the day they spend, while managers and accounts see more according to their role.
What the screen shows
Why it matters to accounts
A claimant who can see status has less reason to ask. Accounts is then spared the daily question of where a claim has reached. Managers can clear claims from the same record, with the bill in view, and rejections are explained on the screen so that a claim is corrected rather than argued.
What it does not show
- Another person’s claims, unless their role allows it
- Approval rules and limits that are set for managers and accounts
- Anything beyond what the role has been given access to
- The exact fields shown are agreed with you during implementation
Frequently asked questions
Do claimants need to install an app?
No. It opens in a phone browser and uses the phone’s own camera for the bill.
Can a claimant see why a claim was rejected?
Yes. A rejection carries its reason, and it appears against the claim on the claimant’s screen.
Will the claimant see what has been paid?
Yes. Paid claims show the date and the mode, either with salary or as a separate transfer.
Can a claimant see other people’s claims?
No, unless the role allows it. A person sees their own record, and managers see the claims routed to them.
