Fire Safety Enquiries and Quotations
Work arrives from builders, factory engineers, society secretaries and old clients. Each enquiry is held with its survey, its quotation and the follow up that turns it into an order.
Taking the enquiry
Building the quotation
Equipment, parts, labour, visit counts and taxes are itemised line by line. A supply quotation reads differently from an installation quotation, and a contract quotation counts equipment and calls rather than material. Every version sent is kept. A client arguing about a price from three revisions ago can be answered from the record.
Following it up
What stays with your office
- Your rate list and the discounts anybody may offer
- Who may approve a quotation above a value you set
- The terms, warranty wording and payment stages you print
- How many follow up calls an enquiry gets before it closes
Frequently asked questions
Can rates be held so quotations are quick?
Yes. A rate list for equipment, parts, labour and visits sits behind the quotation screen, and our staff revise it when you ask.
How are revised quotations kept apart?
Each revision is numbered and saved, and the one the client approved is the one that opens the job.
Can a quotation go out on WhatsApp?
Yes. The PDF can be mailed or sent on WhatsApp, and the sending is noted against the enquiry.
Does it suggest what a building needs?
No. The scope comes from your surveyor and from what the client and their advisers decide the building requires.
