Reports and Dashboards for Photography Studios
These reports read the booking, crew, album and payment records that the studio already keeps. They cover dates, balances, stages, revisions, payouts and enquiries.
Records the studio already keeps
Dates, money and album jobs are often held in separate places, such as a diary, a ledger and a list kept by the editors. A question about the month then needs several sources. These reports read from the booking record as it is updated. One place answers it.
The reports
Who reads which report
- Owners read the dates, the stages and the outstanding money
- Coordinators read late albums and the shoots booked for the week
- Accounts read balances to collect and freelancer payouts due
- Editors and designers read the jobs and dates assigned to them
What the figures reflect
Every number comes from the entries made so far. A stage must be moved, a payment entered and a card handover noted before a report is complete. When a report looks wrong, check for a record nobody has updated. Entry comes first. The studio dashboard shows several of these on one screen.
Frequently asked questions
Are the figures live?
Yes. Each report is built from live entries, so it moves whenever a booking, stage or payment is entered.
Can reports beyond this list be added?
Yes, for anything already entered on bookings, stages or payments. Additional reports are defined with the studio before launch.
Do the reports cover the photographs themselves?
No. The system records file counts and where a disk or drive sits. The images stay on the studio’s own storage.
Where is the one-screen summary?
On the studio dashboard, which shows shoots this week, jobs at each stage, late albums, balances and payouts due.
