What is reviewed on the AI side

Are your records, in their present state, something a model could learn from or a system could read reliably? That is the question here. The technology itself is not.

  • How much history exists, and where it is kept
  • Whether the records are labelled at all
  • Scanned images against searchable text
  • Who owns the data and who may use it
  • What a wrong answer would cost the business

Take a manufacturer that wants defects spotted by camera. If the floor has no stored images and rejections are tallied in a register, the images have to be photographed and labelled before any model exists. The roadmap puts that work in the first phase and the detection in the second.

Frequently asked questions

What comes out of an AI and cloud readiness assessment?

A written verdict on each proposed use case: ready, ready after specific work, or not yet worth pursuing. Each verdict names the gap behind it, and a phased order puts the groundwork first.

Is a small business too small for AI?

No. Size matters less than record-keeping. A small firm with several years of structured records can be better placed than a large one whose history sits in scanned files. The review shows which you are.

Can ready-made AI services be used instead of training a model?

Often, yes. Document reading, classification and chat interfaces already exist as services. Which use cases they cover, and which would need something built for the purpose, is noted in the report.

Does the assessment cover personal data questions?

It raises them. Where customer or employee data would go to an outside service, your advisor should review that before anyone commits. The system holds the figures; your adviser decides how the rules of your country apply to them. The software prepares data and gives no legal advice.
