Questions for any vendor
Put these to every supplier you are comparing.
- Does it fly or plan the mission?
- Can we quote spraying and mapping at different rates?
- How are battery packs tracked?
- Can a farmer receive a spray record?
- What happens when a mission is called off for wind?
- Does it track pilot certificates and registrations?
- Can it handle product supplied by the farmer?
- Do we keep control of our mission data?
- What does it cost?
- Can we try it with last season’s missions?
Where the work usually breaks today
Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.
- The spray record lives in a phone gallery
- Battery packs are used until one fails
- Tank mix and dose are not tied to the field
- Pilot and drone papers expire unnoticed
- Billed area differs from flown area
