Systems it may need to connect to

Questions for any vendor
Put these to every supplier you are comparing.
- Does it calculate least-cost formulas?
- How does a bag lead back to raw material loads?
- Can an operator substitute an ingredient?
- How are medicated batches handled?
- Can we link the weighbridge and the mixer?
- Does it handle pet food and aqua feed as well?
- What about returned and expired bags?
- Can existing dealer balances be loaded?
- Can our records be exported later?
- What moves the quote for a feed mill?
Where the work usually breaks today
Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.
- Intake results are not attached to bins
- Formulas drift on the shop floor
- Premix and medicated feed need strict control
- Complaints cannot be traced
- Dealer credit grows beyond sight
