Questions for any vendor

Put these to every supplier you are comparing.

  • Is it only for electronics and appliance dealers?
  • Can every set be followed by serial number?
  • Does it handle finance schemes and instalment plans?
  • How is an old set taken in exchange handled?
  • Can installation and demo visits be scheduled?
  • Where are warranty dates kept?
  • Can we see what each branch holds?
  • Will the figures reach our accounting package?
  • Who owns the records?
  • Is this needed by a small counter?
  • What shapes the quotation for an appliance shop?
  • How long before billing starts, and what do we prepare?

Where the work usually breaks today

Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.

  • Brand scheme claims are missed
  • Finance disbursements are hard to match
  • Installation requests are not raised
  • Warranty questions come back to the counter
  • Exchange stock is not recorded
