Questions for any vendor
Put these to every supplier you are comparing.
- Is it only for electronics and appliance dealers?
- Can every set be followed by serial number?
- Does it handle finance schemes and instalment plans?
- How is an old set taken in exchange handled?
- Can installation and demo visits be scheduled?
- Where are warranty dates kept?
- Can we see what each branch holds?
- Will the figures reach our accounting package?
- Who owns the records?
- Is this needed by a small counter?
- What shapes the quotation for an appliance shop?
- How long before billing starts, and what do we prepare?
Where the work usually breaks today
Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.
- The sale of a serial cannot be found quickly
- Distributor schemes are missed
- Job cards lose their place
- Corporate credit accumulates
