Questions for any vendor
Put these to every supplier you are comparing.
- Is it ENT software or general clinic software?
- Where are audiograms kept?
- How are endoscope images kept?
- What about surgery at a facility we do not own?
- How are hearing aids tracked?
- How is a visiting surgeon’s share worked out?
- Is migration from our current software possible?
- Whose data is the patient record?
- What does it cost?
Where the work usually breaks today
Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.
- Images and charts are filed apart
- Surgery plans are tracked loosely
- Device fittings need several visits
- Sterile kit and consumables run short
- Follow-up visits are forgotten
