Tick each one that matters to your business.
- Enquiry and test drive booking
- Vehicle allocation and yard stock

- For workshop technicians
- For finance and accounts
- For the dealer principal
Reports to ask for
Ask to see each one with your own sample data.
- Test drives by model and executive
- Allocations by status, ordered to delivered
- Deliveries waiting on a survey or wallbox
- Used EV stock, health reading, days in yard
- Pre-delivery checklist items failed by model
- Accessories issued against each delivery
- Sold cars inside open recall or software campaigns
Systems it may need to connect to
Note which ones you already run.
- SMS
- Payment gateway
- Accounting export
- Manufacturer allocation file
Questions for any vendor
Put these to every supplier you are comparing.
- Does a car’s record start at allocation?
- Can we keep battery readings for used cars?
- How does the home charger survey fit in?
- Can demo cars be booked without clashes?
- Will it find cars affected by a recall?
- Does it connect to the maker’s dealer system?
- Can showrooms share one stock list?
- What does it cost?
- Can our data be taken out later?
- How quickly can the showroom start taking bookings in it?
- What does the dealership gather first?
Where the work usually breaks today
Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.
- The wall box survey is separate from the sale
- Allocations are tracked on the maker’s portal only
- Battery health on used stock is not written down
- Delivery checks depend on who is on shift
- Recall and software campaigns are hard to match
