Questions for any vendor
Put these to every supplier you are comparing.
- Is it only for tile and sanitaryware showrooms?
- Can stock be held in boxes and square feet?
- Does it keep shade lot numbers?
- Can a quotation be made room by room?
- How is the wastage allowance handled?
- Can one order go out in several loads?
- What happens to boxes returned from a site?
- Can builders and architects have accounts?
- Is there an accounting package export?
- Do we need this for a single-counter showroom?
- What shapes the cost for a showroom?
- How long before billing starts, and what should we gather?
Where the work usually breaks today
Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.
- A second lot does not match
- Returned boxes disappear
- Wastage is estimated differently each time
- Breakage has nobody to answer for it
- Old stock fills the warehouse
