Questions for any vendor
Put these to every supplier you are comparing.
- Is this an insurance CRM for agents?
- Is this for general insurance only, and can we add a line of cover?
- Does it connect to insurer portals?
- Can sub-agents or point of sale persons log in and see only their own clients?
- Can it remind clients about renewals?
- Can we track a claim from start to finish?
- Does it check brokerage against insurer statements?
- Does anything go into our accounting software?
- Who owns the client information held here?
- What does it cost?
- How soon will the agency work from it?
- What does the agency need to hand over?
Where the work usually breaks today
Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.
- Renewals slip past expiry
- Quotes take too long to compare
- Endorsements are forgotten at renewal
- Claim follow-ups have no owner
- Payouts do not match what was sold
