GullySystem
Finance and insurance · Software for general insurance agents

We lose motor renewals to the dealer because our reminder went out a week late.

General insurance agents track renewals in an Excel sheet of expiry dates across several insurer portals, with quotes and claim papers on WhatsApp. GullySystem builds a renewal and claims book that works across insurers, so motor renewals go out on time and every claim has an owner. The first step is a free technology audit of your current set-up.

At a glance

You sell motor, health, shop, fire and marine policies across several insurers, and your income depends on the same customers renewing every year.

The insurer portals each hold their own slice of your book. Nobody gives you all of it in one list, sorted by expiry date.

How the work runs today

A customer asks for a car renewal. You collect the RC, previous policy and NCB details, fetch quotes from three insurers, send a comparison on WhatsApp, and issue the policy on the chosen portal once payment arrives.

Health and group policies bring more work: member lists, pre-existing conditions, endorsements when someone joins, and claims. A hospital calls about a cashless approval, a TPA asks for a discharge summary, and you chase a surveyor for a shop fire claim.

Payouts come from each insurer or your broker at different times, and matching them to the policies you sold is left for a quiet month that never arrives.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for general insurance agents without a proper system.

Renewals slip past the expiry date

The Excel reminder list is only as good as the last update, and a lapsed motor policy means a lost NCB and a lost customer.

Quotes take too long to compare

Logging into several portals and retyping vehicle details means the customer has bought from the showroom by the time you reply.

Claim follow-ups have no owner

The customer calls you, not the insurer. Without a claim log, you can’t tell them what was sent to the TPA or when.

Payouts never match what we sold

Rates differ by product and insurer, and short payments go unnoticed across hundreds of policies.

What the software does

What we would build for general insurance agents.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Renewal calendar across insurers

Every policy by expiry date, with WhatsApp reminders at set intervals and a daily call list for your staff.

Quote comparison sheet

Enter vehicle or member details once, add premiums from each insurer, and send a clean comparison.

Policy and endorsement record

Customer, vehicles or members, policy PDFs and endorsements filed together.

Claim tracker

Each claim with documents sent, TPA or surveyor contact, next follow-up and status.

Payout reconciliation

Expected commission per policy against what the insurer or broker paid, with gaps listed.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 01

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, Tally reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 02

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 03

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 04

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 05

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions general insurance agents ask before they call.

Will it connect to insurer portals directly?

Only where an insurer offers an API or data file you are allowed to use. Where it doesn’t, staff upload the policy PDF and the software reads the key fields.

Can payout entries go into Tally?

Yes. Payouts received can post to Tally as income, with GST and TDS separated for your accountant.

What about customers’ health details?

Health declarations and claim papers are visible only to the staff you assign, and each view is logged. The software records this, but we don’t claim IRDAI approval for it.

Is a spreadsheet enough for a small agency?

With a small book and one person, a well-kept spreadsheet can work. Software starts to pay when staff make renewal calls for you, or when the book is bigger than one person can remember.

What happens in the free technology audit?

We look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough to start. You get a report ordered by priority, and there is no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. The audit settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
