Half my week goes on reminding families that their premium is due before the grace period ends.
Life insurance advisors keep a premium-due diary, several insurer portals and decades of family details in their heads, so lapses catch them off guard. GullySystem builds a policy book arranged by family and due date, with reminders clients actually read. It starts with a free technology audit of your diary and portal reports.
Your book is built over decades: one policy for the father in 2004, a child plan in 2012, a term plan after the home loan. Every one has its own mode, due date and maturity year.
Insurer portals show each policy, but none shows you the family, and none reminds the client in a way that stops a lapse.
A new proposal means a needs discussion, the proposal form, KYC, medical tests, and follow-up with the branch until the policy bond arrives. Then the policy goes into your diary with its premium mode: yearly, half-yearly, quarterly or monthly.
Each month you list who is due, call or message them, and check the portal to see who has paid. Policies in the grace period need a second call, and lapsed ones need a revival with fresh health declarations.
Alongside that come survival benefits on money-back plans, maturity claims, nominee changes after a marriage, and a death claim now and then, which needs care and quick paperwork.
What goes wrong for life insurance advisors without a proper system.
Policies lapse because a reminder was missed
The diary shows the due date, but not whether the client paid online last night. You call too late or call someone who already paid.
I only see policies, not families
When a client’s son marries or a daughter starts working, you have no quick view of what the family already holds.
Maturities arrive as surprises
A large payout is due in June and you learn of it when the client says the money has come, with no chance to talk about reinvesting.
Nominee details are out of date
Nominees named twenty years ago are rarely checked, and that only matters when a claim is made.
What we would build for life insurance advisors.
Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.
Premium due calendar
Every policy by due date and mode, with reminders on WhatsApp and SMS before the date and during the grace period.
Family policy tree
All members and their policies on one screen, with sum assured, term and maturity year.
Lapse and revival list
Policies past grace, with the revival steps and documents needed for each.
Maturity and survival benefit alerts
Upcoming payouts listed months ahead, so you can meet the family first.
Nominee and document check
Flags policies with missing or old nominee details, and keeps proposal forms and bonds on file.

Can it read data from the insurer’s agent portal?
Only where the insurer gives you a downloadable report or an allowed data feed. Otherwise your staff upload premium-paid reports, and the software updates status from them.
Can commission entries go into Tally?
Yes. Commission statements can post to Tally as income, with TDS recorded against each insurer for your ITR.
Can premium reminders go on WhatsApp without me typing each one?
Yes. Each reminder is built from the premium due calendar with the client’s name, policy number, amount and due date, and sent from your business number. You still decide which clients get a personal call.
Is this worth it for a single advisor?
If your book is small and your diary works, keep the diary. Book the free technology audit and we will tell you honestly whether reminders alone would save your time.
What happens in the free technology audit?
We look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough to start. You get a report ordered by priority, and there is no obligation to hire us afterwards.
How much will the software cost?
We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. The audit settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
