Questions for any vendor

Put these to every supplier you are comparing.

  • Does it match incoming bikes to bookings?
  • Can it print a delivery note with frame and engine numbers?
  • How are free services tracked?
  • Can we sell helmets and jackets at the counter?
  • Does it handle exchange bikes?
  • Can it follow registration for each bike?
  • How do recall campaigns work?
  • Will the workshop team manage with a phone or tablet?
  • Can the yard sheet and rider list be brought in?
  • What would a dealership pay?

Where the work usually breaks today

Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.

  • Allocated bikes are not matched to bookings
  • The delivery check has no record
  • Free service visits are missed
  • Registration papers are chased by phone
  • Warranty claims lack proof
