Questions for any vendor
Put these to every supplier you are comparing.
- Is this meant for nursing, or for any college?
- How does the procedure logbook work?
- Can we plan ward postings for the whole term?
- Does it decide who can sit the exam?
- Can the skills lab be booked by batch?
- Will hospital staff need a login?
- How are existing student records brought in?
- Who owns the student data?
- What does it cost?
- Does a small school of nursing need this?
- How soon could class coordinators plan ward groups here?
- What should the registrar and principal assemble first?
Where the work usually breaks today
Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.
- Posting rotations clash with the timetable
- Procedure logbooks are signed late or lost
- Attendance is counted across three registers
- Internal assessment marks sit in many hands
- Fee dues and hostel charges are tracked apart
