Questions for any vendor
Put these to every supplier you are comparing.
- Is this only for paint dealers?
- Can stock be kept by base and pack size?
- Does it record tinting machine jobs?
- Will it talk to the tinting machine itself?
- Can a customer shade be found again later?
- How are painter and contractor accounts handled?
- What happens to tinted packs that are not collected?
- Can company scheme claims be tracked?
- Can the figures reach our accounting package?
- What shapes the cost, and does a single-counter shop need this?
- How soon could the counter and tinting machine run on it?
- What should the dealer have to hand before starting?
Where the work usually breaks today
Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.
- Repeat tints never match
- Painter credit runs away
- The homeowner doubts the painter’s bill
- Scheme claims go unclaimed
- Base and colourant stock is off
Prefer to talk it through? See the paint dealers page.
