Questions for any vendor
Put these to every supplier you are comparing.
- Are patient records linked to a national health ID scheme?
- Can it keep session packages and count the sessions?
- Can therapists write progress notes after each session?
- Can exercise sheets be sent to patients?
- Does it handle home visits?
- Does anything go into accounting software?
- Can patients and package balances be moved?
- Who can see patient records?
- Who owns the patient data?
- What does it cost?
- How long before therapists write notes in it?
- What should the clinic put together beforehand?
Where the work usually breaks today
Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.
- Patients drop out mid-plan
- Progress is hard to show
- Home visits are poorly tracked
- Package balance causes arguments
