  • Goals met against target date
  • Score change from admission to review
  • Missed sessions with reason
  • Aids out on loan and overdue
  • Package billed against quoted

Note which ones you already run.

  • SMS
  • Email
  • WhatsApp or other messaging
  • Accounting export
  • Barcode or label printer
  • Video call link for remote sessions

Questions for any vendor

Put these to every supplier you are comparing.

  • Is this therapy software or a general hospital system?
  • Can each discipline keep its own notes?
  • How are goals linked to scores?
  • Does it handle a patient who stays on the ward and attends the gym?
  • Can we record a home exercise sheet?
  • How are splints and wheelchairs tracked?
  • Can our existing patient list be loaded?
  • Who owns the records?
  • What decides the quote?
  • Is it worth it for a small centre?

Where the work usually breaks today

Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.

  • Therapy timetables clash
  • Goals are written but not measured
  • Outcome scores sit in paper charts
  • Equipment fitting is lost between teams
  • Discharge planning starts too late
