Healthcare · Software for rehabilitation centres

Plan therapy goals, daily sessions and discharge for each patient across every discipline.

Rehabilitation centres treat stroke, spinal injury, joint replacement and brain injury patients with a team of therapists over weeks. The software holds the assessment, goals, session timetable, outcome scores and discharge plan on one record. Therapists see their own day, and the family is included in the plan.

At a glance

A rehabilitation patient comes with a diagnosis, a limitation and a goal such as walking unaided or feeding without help. A physiotherapist, an occupational therapist, a speech therapist and a doctor each work on a part of that goal.

Progress is measured by scores taken at intervals, and the stay ends with a discharge plan and a home programme. When each therapist keeps a separate notebook, nobody sees the whole picture on the day the team reviews the case.

How the work runs today

The rehabilitation physician examines the patient at admission and orders the disciplines needed. Each therapist then performs an assessment, sets short-term goals and writes a timetable of sessions in the gym, the hydrotherapy pool, the speech room or the activities of daily living kitchen.

A day-programme patient arrives by transport at a fixed hour, and an inpatient is wheeled from the ward between sessions. Aides help with transfers and equipment. Therapists note the session done, the exercise level reached and any pain or fall, and a team meeting reviews each patient every week or two.

Equipment is fitted and adjusted along the way: walkers, splints, wheelchairs and orthoses. Social workers meet the family, plan the home visit and arrange follow-up, while billing keeps package charges and part payments.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for rehabilitation centres without a proper system.

Therapy timetables clash

The physiotherapist books the gym for ten o’clock and the speech therapist books the same patient. The patient misses one session and the family asks why.

Goals are written but not measured

The admission note says the patient will walk twenty metres with a frame. Nobody records the distance achieved at each review, so the team argues from memory.

Outcome scores sit in paper charts

Balance, strength and independence scores are taken on admission and again later. Comparing them means pulling the file.

Equipment fitting is lost between teams

A splint is ordered from the workshop and a wheelchair is borrowed from stores. The therapist cannot tell which patient holds which item or when it is due back.

Discharge planning starts too late

The home assessment, the family training and the follow-up date are arranged in the last week. Gaps appear on the day the patient leaves.

What the software does

What we would build for rehabilitation centres.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Admission assessment and goals

Record the diagnosis, the baseline scores and the goals set by each discipline, with a target date against every goal.

Therapist timetable by room and discipline

Book sessions in the gym, pool and speech room so one patient is never in two places, and show each therapist the day’s list.

Session notes and progress scores

Log what was done in a session, the level reached and any fall or pain, then repeat the outcome scale at the intervals the team sets.

Weekly team review sheet

Bring each patient’s goals, scores and attendance to one page for the multidisciplinary meeting and record the changes agreed.

Aids, orthoses and wheelchair loans

Track each splint, frame and chair from order to fitting, adjustment and return, with the patient who holds it.

Package charges and part payments

Quote a stay or a day-programme package, take payments in parts, and record sessions beyond the package for the family to see.

Discharge plan and home programme

Prepare the exercise sheet, the caregiver training record and the review date before the patient leaves.

Solutions inside

The business modules rehabilitation centres use most.

Each one is also available on its own, or inside a system built for you.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 1

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, accounting reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 2

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 4

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 5

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions rehabilitation centres ask before they call.

Can we use our own outcome scales?

Yes. The balance, strength and independence scales your therapists already use are entered as forms, with the scoring and the review interval set by your own team during implementation.

Does it handle both inpatients and day-programme patients?

Yes. A ward stay and a day attendance sit on the same patient record. Transport pick-up times and bed days are kept separately from the therapy timetable.

Can families see the home exercise plan?

A printed or messaged exercise sheet can be produced from the discharge plan. Relatives do not get their own sign-in as standard; if you want that, we agree its limits with you first.

Do visiting therapists get paid from it?

It works out sessions completed per visiting therapist, using the rate you set. The payment itself is made in your own accounts. Tax treatment is for your accountant.

What happens after I share my requirements?

An engineer reads what you send and replies within one business day. We then look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough. You get a short written summary ordered by priority, with no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. That first review settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
