Questions for any vendor
Put these to every supplier you are comparing.
- Is it built around the unit or the customer?
- Can it prepare warranty claim packs?
- Does it handle trade-ins and consignment units?
- Can we book winter storage?
- Can the parts counter see what technicians have used?
- Does it connect to floorplan finance?
- Can open deals and repair orders be moved across?
- Who owns the dealership’s records?
- How is pricing decided?
- Can customers track their own repair order?
Where the work usually breaks today
Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.
- A unit’s history is split across desks
- Warranty claims wait on missing evidence
- Trade-ins are valued from memory
- Delivery damage is found too late
- Seasonal storage bookings clash
