Reports to ask for
Ask to see each one with your own sample data.

Questions for any vendor
Put these to every supplier you are comparing.
- Does the wire lot follow each spring batch?
- Can peening results be required before shipping?
- How are welded arms inspected in the system?
- Can outside coating be tracked?
- Can we trace bad bushes to assemblies?
- What does it take to start?
- How is pricing set?
- Is our data exportable?
Where the work usually breaks today
Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.
- Wire and tube lots are lost on the floor
- Spring test records sit on a test bench log
- Weld checks stay on the weld cell
- Coating results arrive late
- Rubber bushing batches are not matched to assemblies
