Tick each one that matters to your business.

- At the front desk
Reports to ask for
Ask to see each one with your own sample data.

- Visits by clinician and by cubicle
- Procedures billed and unbilled, such as sutures and splints
- Claims submitted, paid and rejected, with the payer’s reason
- Employer account balances and work-injury visits

- Wound checks and call-backs due
Systems it may need to connect to
Note which ones you already run.
- SMS
- WhatsApp or other messaging

- Accounting export
- Label and receipt printers
Questions for any vendor
Put these to every supplier you are comparing.
- Is this for urgent care or for any clinic?
- Can it run a queue with priorities?
- Does it handle both walk-in and booked visits?
- How are X-ray and lab results tracked?
- Can we bill employers for occupational visits?
- Can it print discharge instructions?
- Can we import our existing patient list?
- Who owns the visit records?
- How is the price decided?
- Is it worth it for one clinician and a nurse?
Where the work usually breaks today
Circle the ones you recognise. They set the order of the project.
- Queues are guessed, not measured
- Triage is not recorded where clinicians look
- Orders and results are chased
- Billing is done after the patient leaves
- Return visits are not linked
