Garage Software Connections: WhatsApp, Payments, Maps
The garage software connects to WhatsApp through click-to-chat, records UPI, card and bank transfer payments, and places a Google Maps link on the garage website. Anything further is scoped separately.
What it connects to
A garage already talks to customers on WhatsApp, takes payments by UPI, card and bank transfer, and is found on a map. The software sits beside these. It keeps job cards, invoices, parts and reminders, and it hands the customer-facing step to the tool the customer already uses.
Each connection
What depends on the other system
The WhatsApp step depends on the number the garage uses and on the customer’s own WhatsApp. Payment records depend on how the garage takes payment, since the amount and the transaction ID are entered against the invoice. The map link depends on the address the garage gives. Each is confirmed with the garage during scoping.
What is not connected today
- Tally is not connected directly. Invoices and payments are listed for the accountant, and an export can be scoped
- SMS is not built in. SMS through a provider is scoped separately
- Insurance and PUC dates are entered by staff and are not read from any government system
Frequently asked questions
Does the software send WhatsApp messages by itself?
No. It prepares the message and opens WhatsApp, and somebody presses send. This keeps a person in the conversation when a reply turns into a booking.
Does it take online payment?
No. It records UPI, card and bank transfer payments against the invoice. Money is collected at the workshop.
Can invoices go into the accountant’s software?
Not directly today. Invoices and payments are listed for the accountant, and an export can be agreed during scoping.
Can another system be connected?
Possibly. Anything beyond the list above is scoped and quoted on its own.
