Workshop Dashboard for Garage Owners and Advisors
The workshop dashboard shows vehicles in the garage, today’s bookings, revenue, pending estimates and approvals, cars ready for delivery, unpaid invoices and low-stock alerts. It reads from the job cards, invoices and stock already entered.
The day’s position on one screen
A garage owner who is not at the counter usually learns the position by asking. Which cars are inside, who has approved, what is ready for delivery and which parts are running low are all questions put to staff. The dashboard answers them from the records themselves. It is a summary of the work, so nothing extra is entered to keep it up to date.
What the dashboard shows
Who reads it
Owners read the dashboard for revenue, unpaid invoices and low stock. Service advisors use it to see bookings, pending approvals and cars ready for delivery. Accountants read the unpaid and part-paid invoices. What each login can see is set when staff accounts are created.
What the dashboard does not do
- It reports on the records entered, so a job card not updated will show an old status
- It does not replace the individual job card, invoice or stock screens
- Extra tiles are scoped with the garage during implementation
Frequently asked questions
Does the dashboard update by itself?
Yes. It reads the current job cards, invoices and stock, so the figures change as staff update the records.
Can a mechanic see the revenue figures?
That depends on the role given to the login. Owners decide who sees revenue and unpaid invoices.
Can the dashboard be opened on a phone?
Yes. The software runs in the browser on phones and tablets, so the owner can look at it away from the counter.
Can other figures be added to it?
Yes, when the records already hold what the new figure needs. Additions are agreed during scoping.
