Integrations for Grocery Store Software
The grocery system connects to Tally, WhatsApp, SMS, UPI and payment gateways, barcode scanners and bill printers. Each depends on an outside service or device, confirmed during scoping.
What it connects to
What depends on the other system
The make of each scanner and printer is noted at the start. UPI and gateway use depends on the shop’s own accounts with the provider. SMS and WhatsApp depend on their providers, who set their own requirements. Those requirements sit with the providers. GullySystem works within them.
What is confirmed during scoping
- The make and model of scanners and bill printers at each counter.
- Which UPI or gateway accounts the shop will collect payments on.
- Which messages go by SMS and which by WhatsApp.
- Whether the accountant needs only the export or a direct Tally link.
What it does not connect to
The customer app belongs to the shop and its own customers. It does not list the store on quick-commerce apps or any marketplace. Marketplace listing is outside this product. Anything not on this page is a scoping question, and it is agreed with the shop before it is built.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a direct link to Tally?
Not as standard. Reports download as a file the accountant brings into Tally, while a direct Tally link is a separate piece of work.
Can it accept UPI at the counter?
Yes. UPI collection is set up at the counter. The amount goes onto the bill next to cash, card and credit.
Will our existing barcode scanner work?
That is checked at scoping. The make and model of the scanner and the bill printer are noted before the counter is set up, so any change needed is known in advance.
Does it list our shop on quick-commerce apps?
No. The customer app is the shop’s own, for its own customers, with no marketplace commission.
