By weekday and by session
A hospital is not the same place on Monday as on Thursday. The OPD count by weekday and by session shows where an extra front desk person is needed. It also shows which consultant hours were set once, some years ago, and never revisited since then.
Occupancy beside length of stay
A ward that is always full and a ward where patients stay long look the same from the corridor. They differ on the report. Side by side, the two can be told apart at once.
It reports what was entered
A procedure done and not recorded does not appear in any report. If a ward writes on paper and enters the record on Friday, the numbers become accurate only on Friday.
Frequently asked questions
Can I see today’s collection from home?
Yes. Reports open over the web on any screen. Today’s OPD count and collections read on a phone without anybody photographing a register.
Can we export to Excel?
Yes. Accounts usually wants the file for the monthly working, and the export carries the same figures as the screen.
Can we get a report that is not on the list?
Usually. A report built from what is already recorded is a small job. One that needs a field nobody captures is a larger conversation, and scoping says which it is.
Does it forecast next month’s patient numbers?
No. It shows what happened. Predicting OPD numbers from past history would be a separate project, scoped on its own.
