A new designer has fewer past projects to draw on than a senior one. The library passes on drawings the studio has already paid for, so a new designer can see how earlier flats were detailed. That narrows the experience gap.

It stores drawings and does not make them
The library is not a drawing tool. Files made in AutoCAD, SketchUp or other software are kept, versioned and searched here, and they open in the software that made them. Someone must also file each project when it closes, and that step is manual.

Can designers search by finish or by room?
Yes, by whatever labels the studio uses. Room, finish and project type are the usual ones.
Do drawings from old projects enter the library automatically?
No. Drawings uploaded to a project stay with that project. Moving one into the library is a deliberate step, which keeps the library worth opening.
What happens to library access when a designer leaves?
Access ends with the login. The files belong to the studio, and roles decide who can download a drawing and who can only view it on screen.
