What Jewellery Billing Software Connects To
Jewellery retail software connects to an accounting package, messaging, payments, weighing scales and tag printers. This page sets out each connection and what is confirmed during scoping.
Software and the counter hardware
A showroom bills from a counter machine with a scale and a printer beside it, and the software records sales, stock and metal there. It also works with the accounting package and the payment methods that the showroom already uses. Models and accounts are confirmed during scoping.
What it connects to
What depends on the other system
The Tally link is an export, so the auditor’s posting still happens inside Tally. The scale and the printers depend on the hardware that the showroom owns or buys, and payment methods depend on the accounts the showroom holds with its bank or gateway. All of this is checked before the first bill.
What the client decides
GullySystem connects what is agreed in scoping, and the showroom chooses its accounting package, its message channels and its hardware. Nothing is connected without that agreement.
- Whether a direct Tally link is wanted
- Which customer messages go out
- Which payment gateway is used
- Which scale and tag printer models are in use
Frequently asked questions
Does it connect directly to Tally?
Not by default. Data comes out as an export for your auditor to post into Tally. A direct connection is scoped as separate work.
Can it print tags on our existing printer?
Possibly. Barcode and RFID tag printers are connected and tested, and the models are confirmed during scoping.
Does the scale feed the weight straight into the bill?
Electronic scales are connected and tested with your staff. How a weight reaches the screen is confirmed for your model during scoping.
Are customer messages sent automatically?
WhatsApp and SMS are available as channels. Which messages go out, and when, is agreed with the showroom.
