Staff Logins and Permissions for Jewellers
Counter staff, the workshop in-charge and the owner each have their own login. Salespeople bill without seeing cost, wastage or the karigar account. Every change is logged with a name.
A login for each person
A jewellery showroom holds figures that not every employee should read. Cost price, wastage allowed and the metal standing with each karigar are among them. Each person signs in with their own login. What they see follows from it. A shared counter login is not needed.
What each login can do
Changes carry a name
The owner agrees with GullySystem who may edit the weight on a tag, who may cancel a bill and who sees the karigar account. Each of those actions is logged against the user’s name and the time. A weight changed at the counter can then be traced. It is not guessed at.
What the owner decides
The permission list is set up with the showroom, and our support team can change it later. GullySystem does not decide who in the shop deserves access.
- Which logins can edit a tag’s weight
- Which logins can cancel or amend a bill
- Who may open the karigar account
- Who may see identity papers on the customer record
