Integrations for Law Firm Case Management
The system connects to WhatsApp, Google Calendar, email, Tally and UPI or bank transfer records. Each link is described here, with what depends on the other system.
The connections
What depends on the other system
WhatsApp depends on the office number the firm uses. Calendar dates depend on the Google account that receives them. The Tally export depends on how the accountant keeps the books. Receipts for UPI and transfers are marked by the person who sees the payment, because the system does not read bank statements.
Confirmed during scoping
- Which office number sends client updates, and who reads them before they go
- Which Google accounts receive hearing dates
- The Tally export format, agreed with the firm’s accountant
- Which clients receive updates by email rather than WhatsApp
- Whether reading case status from a court site is wanted
What is not connected
No court portal is connected as standard, and nothing is filed from the system. Filing happens at the court, and the stamped copy is attached to the matter afterwards. Updates are never sent without a person reading them first. Any link beyond this list is scoped and quoted on its own, before anything is built.
Frequently asked questions
Does it post entries into Tally by itself?
No. Bills, receipts and expenses are listed here for whoever keeps the books. An export can be built once the accountant has agreed its format.
Can client updates go out automatically?
No. The message is drafted from the record, and somebody in the office reads it before it is sent.
Does it connect to a court website?
Not as standard. Reading case status from a court site is done only on request and is raised when the account is set up.
Do we need Google Calendar to use the system?
No. The hearing calendar works inside the system. Pushing dates to Google Calendar is an option for juniors who already use it.
