No. Nothing here searches records or verifies anyone. It holds the ID proof, the verification form and the details you collected, and marks the tenants whose papers are pending.
Can we stop an allotment until papers are in?
It shows the gap and does not block the allotment. The pending list is what catches a bed allotted in the evening with the papers left for later.
Can we keep references from her previous PG?
Yes, as details on her record. Owners in student areas sometimes call the previous PG, and the number is worth keeping.
