Low-Code and No-Code Automation

Straightforward internal automations — notifications, data syncing, simple approvals — built on a visual, drag-and-drop platform so they can be delivered quickly and adjusted by your own team afterward without engineering effort.

Where Low-Code Fits

Not every automation needs a custom-built application behind it. For a task that follows a simple, stable rule — post this form response into a sheet, notify this person when that happens, copy this record between two tools — a visual automation platform gets it working quickly and leaves your team able to see and adjust the logic themselves.

When Low-Code Is the Right Call

  • The task is a simple, well-defined rule connecting two or three existing tools
  • You want it working quickly rather than waiting for a full development cycle
  • Your team wants visibility into the automation and the ability to tweak it without calling a developer for every small change
  • The tools involved already offer standard connectors on common automation platforms

Where It Reaches Its Limit

Complex, Branching Logic

Once a process has many conditions, exceptions and role-based rules, a visual flow becomes hard to read and maintain, and a properly built application handles that complexity more reliably.

High Volume or Heavy Data

Low-code platforms are built for moderate, event-driven volumes. A process handling large data volumes or tight performance needs is usually better served by custom development.

Deep Customisation

A tool a connector was not built for, or a screen your team needs that does not exist on the platform, pushes the work back toward custom software.

What We Deliver

  • The automation built and tested on a platform suited to your existing tools
  • A walkthrough so your team can read and adjust the flow themselves
  • A clear note on where the automation's limits are, and what would require a custom build instead
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which platforms do you build on?

We choose the platform based on which tools you already use and which ones offer reliable, well-supported connectors to them, rather than committing to one platform regardless of fit.

Will our team be able to maintain this ourselves afterward?

That is the intent. We hand over the flow with a plain-language walkthrough of the logic, so straightforward changes — a new recipient, a different condition — can be made by your team without needing us for every adjustment.

How do we know if our task needs low-code or a custom build?

If the task is a simple, stable rule between a small number of tools, low-code is usually the faster and cheaper route. If it involves several conditional rules, role-based permissions, or needs to scale to high volume, we will say so and recommend custom development instead.

What drives the cost of a low-code automation?

The main factors are how many tools are being connected, how many conditions the flow needs to handle, and whether the platform's standard connectors cover those tools or a custom connection has to be built.

What determines how quickly this gets built?

Timeline is usually short for this category of work, driven mainly by how many steps the flow has and whether the tools involved have ready-made connectors on the platform chosen.

Are there ongoing costs beyond the build?

Most automation platforms charge their own subscription based on usage volume, separate from our build fee. We size the right plan with you based on expected volume before committing to a platform.

Can a low-code automation later be replaced with custom software if we outgrow it?

Yes. Starting with low-code does not lock you in — once volume or complexity outgrows the platform, the same process logic can be rebuilt as part of a custom application without starting the thinking from zero.
