Legacy modernisation is a platform change: software written in a language or environment that is no longer supported or extendable — VB6, old FoxPro, Access databases, unmaintained desktop tools — rebuilt on a current web and mobile stack. The workflow and business logic that already work are kept; the technology underneath is replaced.

Can you migrate our data out of an old FoxPro or Access database?
In almost all cases, yes. We extract data directly from the legacy database file or format, map it to the new system's structure, and verify the migrated data against the original before the old system is retired.
Will our staff have to relearn everything?
The underlying workflow — how an order is booked, how an approval works — is carried across as-is wherever it already serves the business well, so training focuses on the new screens rather than a new way of working.

We work from copies of the legacy database, never the only live copy, and the original system remains untouched and available until you have verified the migrated data yourself.

You do. Full source code, database design and documentation are handed over, so the business is never again dependent on a single unsupported system or an unreachable original developer.
