Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace Administration
Accounts are run from checklists. Starters get a mailbox, a licence and the right folders, leavers are closed down from the same list the same day, and outside sharing is controlled and logged.
What administration covers
Multi-factor sign-in without the complaints
Stolen passwords are the most common way into a small company’s email, and multi-factor sign-in blocks most of those attempts even when the password itself has leaked. Staff resent clumsy rollouts. So setup goes team by team, with an authenticator app, a clear note on what to expect and a way back in for anyone who loses a phone.
What this will not do
Staff still click bad links. Purged mail stays gone. Moving from one platform to the other is a separate project with its own planning, its own risks and its own cutover weekend. Global admin rights belong with two trusted people inside your company, never with the support provider alone, and never with a former employee.
Frequently asked questions
Should we choose Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?
Choose the one your staff and software already fit, since companies living in Excel and Outlook usually lean to Microsoft and those working in browsers often prefer Google. Both are administered the same way.
What happens to a leaver’s mailbox?
It is kept for a period you set, usually by converting it to a shared mailbox or forwarding it to a manager who needs the customer history. Files move to a team owner first. Then the licence is freed.
Who holds the administrator account?
You do, and at least two named people in your company should hold admin rights, with recovery details stored securely where they cannot be lost. Delegated support access can be withdrawn.
Can outside people see our shared drives?
Only if you allow it. The default is internal sharing, with named exceptions for clients or an accountant, expiry dates on links and a periodic review of who still has access.

What happens after you share your requirements
- A senior engineer reads your answers. Nobody phones first.
- Within one business day you get a written note: what we understood, what we would start with, and the questions we still have.
- If it fits, a proposal follows with the order of work, what we need from you and what you receive at each step.
- No call is booked and nothing is paid until you have read the note. Your details stay with us.
