Will passing Core Web Vitals improve our search ranking?
It can help, usually as a tie-breaker between pages of similar relevance. Nobody can promise a jump in ranking from vitals alone, and this work does not.
Our score is red on mobile and green on desktop. Why?
Mobile testing uses a slower device and connection, which exposes heavy images and scripts that desktop hides. Mobile is often the larger share of visits, so its grade is read first.
Can vitals be fixed on a WordPress or Shopify site?
Yes, within the limits of the platform. Themes, plugins and apps are usually where the weight sits, and trimming them is most of the work before any code is touched.
