AI & Machine Learning Intern

A six-month internship working on the applied AI features we build into client products — document extraction, demand forecasting, classification and retrieval. Real datasets, real constraints, and a mentor who reviews your work weekly.

What you will learn and do

• ✓Explore and clean real client datasets, and be honest about what they can and cannot support.
• ✓Build and evaluate models for a defined problem, and report the metrics that matter rather than the flattering ones.
• ✓Work with language model APIs for extraction, summarisation and retrieval tasks.
• ✓Package a working model behind a simple API so the rest of the team can use it.
• ✓Write up what you tried, including what did not work.

What we are looking for

• ✓Currently studying or recently graduated in computer science, data science, mathematics or a related field.
• ✓Solid Python, and familiarity with pandas, scikit-learn or PyTorch.
• ✓You understand overfitting, train/test splits and why accuracy alone can mislead.
• ✓Able to commit to six months full-time.
• ✓Nice to have: a project, notebook or paper you can walk us through.
