Associate Frontend Engineer

You will build the screens our clients and their customers use every day — dashboards, booking flows, admin panels — in React and Next.js. You will work directly with a designer and a backend engineer on a small team, so your work ships in weeks, not quarters.

What you will do

• ✓Build responsive, accessible interfaces in React and Next.js from Figma designs.
• ✓Turn API responses into screens that stay fast on a mid-range Android phone and a patchy connection.
• ✓Write the loading, empty and error states — not just the happy path.
• ✓Review a teammate’s pull request each week and take review on your own.
• ✓Sit in on client demos so you hear the feedback first-hand rather than second-hand.

What we are looking for

• ✓One to three years writing JavaScript or TypeScript for the browser, in a job or on projects you can show us.
• ✓Comfortable with React hooks, component state and why a re-render happens.
• ✓Working knowledge of HTML semantics and CSS layout — flexbox and grid without reaching for a framework first.
• ✓You can read an API contract and build against it before the endpoint exists.
• ✓Nice to have: Next.js App Router, Tailwind, or a portfolio of small things you shipped on your own.
