Software Solutions for Fishing Tackle Sellers
Fishing tackle is many small things with many small differences: hook sizes, line strengths, lure weights and colours. Online sellers need a variant matrix that can be imported, rods sold as multi-piece packs, and order handling that makes cheap items worth shipping.
List thousands of small tackle variants without typing each hook size by hand.
One lure in six colours and three weights is eighteen stock lines. A tackle catalogue has to hold that grid without a person retyping the name each time.
Tackle shops with an online counter
A shop sells rods, reels and terminal tackle online alongside the counter, from one stock.
Tackle brands and importers
A brand lists its own lines and supplies shops, with trade prices for each.
Guides and clubs
A guide or club orders gear for members and expects an itemised invoice.
The workflow for fishing.
- 1
Range imported
A supplier sheet with sizes, strengths and colours is imported as variants of one product, reviewed before it goes live.
- 2
Combo assembled
A rod, reel and line are grouped as a combo. It carries a single price and takes one unit from each part’s stock.
- 3
Small items picked
Hooks and lures are picked in bulk from labelled bins and packed in padded envelopes.
- 4
Long rods packed
Multi-piece rods ship in tubes, costed by length and weight.
- 5
Spooling or setup requested
A customer asks for line to be spooled on a reel, and the job is added to the order.

What is specific to this trade.
These are requirements we would confirm in discovery. They describe what the solution may need to handle. They are not features that already exist.
- Variant grids imported from supplier sheets
- Combos priced and stocked as groups
- Margin shown after packing and carriage
- Packing rules for long and fragile items
What we would build for fishing.
Chosen from the commerce capabilities this business needs, not a list of everything.
Who works in the system, and what each can do.
What it would connect to.
An integration is confirmed only after its API, access and scope are checked. A connection that updates on a schedule is described as scheduled, not real-time.
- Supplier sheets of sizes, strengths and colours, loaded by file
- Courier aggregators that quote by weight band for small padded parcels
- Taking UPI and card payments for orders made of many small lines
How the work runs, and what we need from you.
What you provide
- A sample supplier sheet
- Your combo definitions
- Your packing materials and carrier charges
Fix the sheet layout
We settle the columns for variant imports once, because every later range depends on them.
Track margin from day one
Packing and carriage cost are recorded from the first orders so pricing can be corrected early.
What you receive.
- An import template with a review step
- Combo set-up
- A bin-level pick list
- An order margin report
How progress is judged.
Measures are agreed against your own baseline. We do not promise a result in advance.
- Products listed per week against your baseline
- Orders where carriage exceeded the agreed share
Selling at home and abroad.
Buyers abroad may use different units for line strength and rod length. The catalogue holds the second unit beside the first, and shipping of long tubes is quoted per carrier.

Configured implementation
The store is built on a commerce platform that you and we pick together. No GullySystem product covers outdoor retail, and the platform limits what can change.
A variant grid, combos and bin picking are catalogue and warehouse configuration.

Can a whole range be loaded from a supplier’s sheet?
Yes, if the sheet follows the agreed layout. Missing sizes or prices are flagged in a review step before anything is published.
Can a combo draw stock from three separate items?
Yes. Selling the combo reduces the rod, the reel and the line together.
Does it sell live bait?
Not on its own. Perishable or live goods need delivery rules and handling that are scoped separately, if at all.
