Lighting E-commerce & Specification Catalogue Software

This solution lets a lighting seller list fixtures with electrical and fitting specifications, filter by what a buyer needs, sell variants without mixing them up and handle faulty driver and lamp claims. It suits brands, stores and dealers. The set-up differs for every seller and follows the range.

Product status

Configured implementation on a commerce platform chosen in discovery

The store, specification filters and order flows are assembled on a hosted platform that suits the range, picked after discovery. No platform is named here. GullySystem’s wholesale ordering product exists for the dealer side, and is linked on the category page.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

The point is a catalogue where wattage, colour temperature, base type and ingress rating are fields. Search, price, picking list and warranty claim then read the same record, and a 3000K fixture stays a 3000K fixture.

It covers the storefront, specification search, orders, dealer ordering and claims. It does not design lighting layouts, certify products or fit them.

Modules

What is in the system.

Storefront with spec filters

Shoppers narrow by room, fitting, wattage, colour temperature and finish, and see only fixtures that match.

Specification catalogue

Electrical and fitting data stored as fields on each fixture and its variants.

Order handling

Orders, part deliveries and returns kept against one record, with variant and batch noted.

Dealer ordering

Trade login with price lists set per dealer, and a basket that follows pack multiples.

Warranty register

Purchase date, variant and batch kept with each order for later claims.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Search to checkout

A shopper filters by specification, picks a variant, pays and receives a confirmation that repeats the specification ordered.

Trade order

A dealer or electrician signs in, sees prices set for their account, orders in carton multiples and settles later against a statement.

Warranty claim

A buyer reports a failed driver or lamp. The order is found, the batch is read and a replacement or credit follows.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Electrical fields

Wattage, lumen output, colour temperature, colour rendering and driver type on each fixture.

Fitting fields

Base type, cut-out size, mounting and dimmer compatibility held separately.

Photographs and drawings

Lit and unlit photographs, plus a dimensioned drawing where one exists.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Variant prices

Each wattage and colour temperature may carry its own price.

Trade price lists

Each dealer sees prices fixed for that dealer alone.

Carton rules

Lines sold by the carton can be held to that multiple at the basket.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Variant stock

The count is kept per wattage, colour temperature and finish, so one sold-out variant hides nothing else.

Batch notes

Where a supplier’s batch matters for colour, it is kept on the receipt and the order.

Packed shipping

Chandeliers and floor lamps ship by their packed size, and glass parts travel separately boxed.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Checkout

Cards, UPI and transfers are accepted through the gateway you hold, and trade orders can be left on account.

Returns

A return is checked for the reason, whether the unit was installed, and whether the packing was kept.

Warranty replacement

A faulty unit is swapped or credited, with the order and batch recorded on the claim.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Roles

Catalogue staff, the order desk, trade sales and owners see what they need and no more.

Price approval

Project discounts are held for an approver and stay on the order.

Reports

Sales by specification, returns by fixture family, claims by batch and trade orders by dealer.

Integrations

What it connects to, and on what terms.

Dealer ordering product

The existing GullySystem dealer ordering software handles trade accounts and dispatch, if the seller runs it.

Payment gateway

Takes the checkout methods that your merchant account offers.

Courier and freight

Booking and tracking for parcels, and a freight carrier for crated chandeliers.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Where it runs

Hosted by us on your behalf, or inside a hosting account held in your name.

Order of release

Retail fixtures go first. Trade ordering and project handling follow.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

Shaped to your range

Specification fields, variant rules and order stages are set up for the products you stock.

Edges

What the platform will bear limits the set-up. A requirement beyond it becomes an extension, or custom work, and is priced before anyone commits.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Loading the range

Product data comes from supplier sheets and your present system, and is read against a sample of live orders.

Training

Catalogue staff, the order desk and trade sales each practise on fixtures from your own range.

Support scope

What support covers.

Included

Fault fixes and small adjustments, plus help for the people using it, under the agreement.

Priced separately

Larger changes, new sales channels and new countries are separate pieces of work.

Subcategory coverage

Where each lighting subcategory is covered.

Each subcategory is either covered by this solution or has a page of its own where its software requirements differ.

  • Ceiling Lights

    Its own solution page

A lighting schedule needs import, matching and revision handling that a simple storefront does not provide.

  • Wall Lights

    Covered on this page

Placement fields, pairs and box contents fit the category catalogue without a separate system.

  • Table Lamps

    Covered on this page

Pairing, bundle pricing and split packing fit the category catalogue.

  • Floor Lamps

    Covered on this page

Multi-carton records and spare parts are covered by the category catalogue and dispatch rules.

  • Outdoor Lights

    Covered on this page

Ratings, sources and installer requests can be handled by the category catalogue and enquiry flows.

  • Decorative Lights

    Covered on this page

Seasonal peaks, run rules and custom signs can be served by the category catalogue and order flows.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Can we buy it as it stands?

No. The store is configured on a hosted platform. The dealer ordering side is a separate existing product, and the store is built around it.

Can it recommend the right fixture?

No. Filters help buyers choose, but a lighting layout is designed by a person who has seen the room.

What does it cost?

No price is listed and there is no trial or demo. Cost follows from scope in a written quotation.
