Ceiling Lights E-commerce & Project Quotation Software

This solution takes a lighting schedule from an architect or designer. It matches each line to a fixture by wattage, colour temperature, beam angle and cut-out, prices it, revises it and follows phased delivery. It is written for sellers of downlights, panels and ceiling fixtures to project buyers.

Product status

Custom software solution, built to your requirements

No existing GullySystem product turns a lighting schedule into a priced project quotation, so it is written for the seller. A dealer ordering product and a shop system can still sit beside it.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

The system works from a schedule, not a basket. Each line names a fixture type, a wattage, a colour temperature and a quantity per room, and the quotation has to follow the same lines.

It does not design the lighting or choose fixtures. It matches the lines you supply to the products you stock, flags the places where a match is uncertain, and leaves every final decision to your own sales engineer.

Modules

What is in the system.

Schedule import

Reads a schedule from a sheet and splits it into room and fixture lines.

Specification matcher

Suggests a stocked fixture for each line and marks lines with no exact match.

Project quotation

Prices the matched lines, with discounts, and keeps each revision.

Phased delivery

Plans delivery by site stage and tracks what is still owed.

Driver and batch tracker

Records which driver and batch went to which project, for later claims.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Schedule to quotation

A schedule arrives, lines are matched to stock, the buyer reviews the match and the quote goes out.

Revision and delivery

The architect revises the schedule, the quotation updates and deliveries follow site readiness.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Fixture specification

Wattage, colour temperature, colour rendering, beam angle, cut-out size and finish as fields.

Accessories

Drivers, dimmers, trims and profile lengths linked to the fixtures that need them.

Alternatives

A second product recorded for a line when the first is out of stock or late.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Line pricing

Each line is priced from the fixture and quantity, with a project discount you set.

Revision history

Each version of the quote is kept, so what was agreed on a given date can be read.

Commission

Architect or designer commission is recorded where you pay one, and reported apart from sales.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Stock by specification

Stock is read per variant, and a line short on stock shows its lead time.

Part deliveries

What went to site, and what remains, is listed per project.

Batch record

Each delivery notes the batch, so a colour difference can be traced.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Advances and stages

An advance is recorded, and stage payments can follow delivery milestones you set.

Returns and claims

A faulty driver is checked against the project and batch record.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Open quotations

Projects awaiting a decision, with age and value.

Deliveries owed

Quantities still to ship, by project and site.

Integrations

What it connects to, and on what terms.

Dealer ordering product

Trade accounts can be shared with the existing GullySystem dealer ordering software, where the seller already runs it.

Spreadsheet exchange

Schedules arrive and quotations leave as sheets in an agreed layout.

Accounts export

Invoices pass to an accounts package by file.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Built for you

Designed with your sales team and hosted wherever you prefer.

In stages

Schedule import and matching first, then revisions, phased delivery and batches.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

Set by your team

Matching rules, discount bands and delivery stages follow your practice.

Where it stops

The matcher suggests. A person confirms every line, because a wrong colour temperature reaches the ceiling.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Loading stock

Fixtures and variants are imported and checked for missing specification fields.

Training

Project sales learn the matcher on schedules from past jobs.

Support scope

What support covers.

Looked after

Fixes to import, matching and quotation are covered, and the agreement names who to call.

Quoted apart

New product families and new import formats are priced as fresh work.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Is there a packaged product for lighting projects?

No. This is written for the seller and is not an existing GullySystem product.

Will it pick the correct fixture for every line?

Not on its own. It proposes matches and flags doubtful ones, and your team confirms each line.

Can it read a schedule in any format?

No. It reads the layouts agreed during design. A new layout is added as a change.
