Sweet Shop E-commerce & Production Software

This solution lets a sweet maker take online and festive orders against a daily production plan, with delivery slots, weight-based orders and boxes. GullySystem’s Bakery Management System carries orders, production, stock and billing, and the storefront is configured on top.

Product status

Existing GullySystem product, with the online storefront configured around it

GullySystem’s Bakery Management System already plans production from orders, logs batches and wastage and bills counter and standing orders. Discovery tests whether its item model suits a given sweet shop. The online store and delivery slots are configured around it.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

The kitchen should decide what to make from confirmed orders, not from guesswork. A sweet that is not made cannot be sold, and one made but unsold is wasted.

The solution covers the store, slot booking, festive pre-orders and the link to production and billing. Costing each sweet to the rupee, printing kitchen tickets and billing without a connection are outside it.

Modules

What is in the system.

Storefront

Sweets and boxes by weight or piece, with a date and slot chosen at checkout.

Order and production plan

Existing product: confirmed orders and usual counter quantities become the day’s production list, with unsold and discarded quantities entered at closing.

Delivery slots

Time windows per area, with a limit on orders per window.

Festive pre-orders

Bookings with an advance, a fixed pick-up or delivery date and a cut-off.

Counter and GST billing

Existing product: counter sales and standing orders billed from the same system.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Order to kitchen

A buyer books four hundred grams of a sweet for tomorrow’s slot, and it appears on the kitchen’s list for that day.

Festival booking

A buyer pays an advance for a date, the quantity is added to that day’s plan, and the balance is taken at pick-up.

Closing

Counter staff enter what is left, and the figures sit beside the plan for the owner to read.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Weight or piece

Sweets sold by weight, by piece or in boxes, each with its own unit and price.

Freshness note

A made-on date and a recommended consume-by period, written by you, shown with the item.

Seasonal items

Items that exist only for a festival, switched on and off by date.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Price per weight

A price per kilo that changes when ingredient costs do, and pack prices recalculated from it.

Advance and balance

An advance recorded against a festive booking, and the balance at delivery.

Wholesale rates

A separate rate for cafés and shops that order standing quantities.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Production-led stock

Availability follows what can be made that day, not a fixed count.

Slots and limits

Each slot closes when it is full, so deliveries stay within the staff available.

Delivery handover

A rider records delivery and any cash taken at the door.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Payments

Card and UPI checkout, plus cash at the door if you offer it.

Returns

A sweet is not resold once delivered. A complaint is recorded and a credit or replacement decided by you.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Roles

Counter, kitchen, delivery and owner each open a different set of screens.

Reports

Sales by item, orders against the production plan and wastage after closing.

Integrations

What it connects to, and on what terms.

Bakery Management System

The existing product holds orders, production, stock and billing. The storefront exchanges data with it at agreed intervals.

Payment gateway

Online payment through a gateway, once its integration route and your merchant account have been tested.

WhatsApp

Order and slot messages, if you hold a verified WhatsApp Business account.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Hosted for you

We can host it, or deploy it into cloud accounts that you own.

Phased

Counter and production go first, then online ordering, then festive pre-orders.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

What can change

Units, slots, cut-offs and the festive calendar are set to your shop.

Where the edge is

Costed margin by sweet, ingredient expiry, kitchen ticket printing and billing without a connection are not part of the existing product.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Bringing items over

Items, rates, customers and suppliers come across from your billing software or a sheet, and your team checks them before go-live.

Training

Sessions for the counter and the kitchen, run on your own sweets and a rehearsal festive week.

Support scope

What support covers.

Scope

Cover for the product and the storefront connection is written into the contract, with hours and contacts.

Outside scope

Delivery-app order links, extra outlets and large changes are priced as separate projects.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Is it an existing product?

Partly. Production and billing already exist as a product. The online store and slot booking are configured for each shop.

Does it take orders from food delivery apps?

Not on its own. Orders from those apps are entered at the counter like any other, until a connection has been scoped and verified.

Does it show ingredient expiry?

No. It records batches with make dates, and expiry dates for ingredients are not held.
