This is where planners lose money quietly. Nobody is cheating. It is simply that the only record of who stood at the entrance all day is one man’s recollection a week later.
How a deployment is kept
Assigned by slot
Morning setup, lunch service, evening reception. A man booked for two slots is booked for two, not vaguely for the whole day.
The rate agreed for each
Supervisors, coordinators and casual hands rarely cost the same. The rate goes on the assignment when it is made.
Marked present on arrival
The supervisor marks them at the venue. Four absentees are known at half past six, while you can still ring somebody.
What they are owed
Attendance feeds the payout. A man who worked three of your events last month appears once, with three lines under his name.

Frequently asked questions
Do casual staff use the system?
No. The deployment is made and marked by your supervisor, who is the only person at the venue with a reason to open a screen. Nothing is installed on anybody’s phone.
Does it pay them?
No. It tells you what is owed, for which events, to whom. Cash on the night or a transfer on Monday is how your firm settles it, and the entry is marked once you have.
Can we see who is free on a date?
People already deployed on that date show as assigned. Whether a coordinator can take a second function that evening is a judgement your owner makes, not the software.
