Automated Loan Tracking From the Request to the Last Repayment

Every loan request, the group’s decision, the disbursement and each repayment stay on one record. Interest is worked out at the rate your group set, against a schedule. Automated loan tracking in SHG Management System means nobody sits with a calculator while the rest of the meeting waits.

The loan is decided in the room

So it should be recorded in the room.

Request and decision

What she asked for, what the group agreed to, and the date the decision was taken.

Disbursed against the record

The amount handed over goes in against her loan. Not remembered until somebody writes it down later.

Schedule made on the spot

Repayment dates and interest are worked out there and then, at the group’s own rate.

Repayments against the schedule

This is exactly where a paper record starts to slip.

Each payment on its instalment

A repayment lands on the schedule it belongs to, so the balance afterwards is never a matter of opinion.

Slipping shows early

A member falling behind appears before the next meeting, not at the end of the year when it is hard to fix.

Interest done for you

Interest on every loan follows the group’s rate and cycle without anyone redoing the arithmetic.

What the group can pull up

The questions are always the same three.

Outstanding by member

Who owes what, with overdue amounts kept separate from amounts that are simply not due yet.

Schedule per loan

The full repayment plan for any loan, printable for a member who wants to carry it home.

Reminders before the date

Dues alerts go by SMS, email or in-app notice, as many days ahead as the group chooses.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does automated loan tracking approve loans on its own?

No. The group decides who gets a loan, exactly as it always has, and the software records that decision, while the arithmetic, the schedule and the reminders are automated.

What interest rate does it use?

The one your group agreed. It is entered when the group is set up, and every schedule after that is worked out at that rate.

What happens when a member misses a repayment?

It shows as overdue against her loan before the next meeting. A reminder can go out. The remaining instalments stay as they were unless the group decides otherwise.
