Crafts and Sewing E-commerce & Stock Software

A crafts and sewing store is set up so each item is counted in its own unit: spools, metres, grams, strands or skeins. Shade codes, collections and made-up kits are catalogue features, and the work is fitted to each seller’s range and shipping.

Product status

Configured implementation on a commerce platform chosen in discovery

The storefront and its flows are put together on a platform that discovery recommends, to fit your catalogue and units. No GullySystem product is named, and the proposal fixes what is included.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

The point is that a metre of lace, a strand of beads and a skein of yarn can sit in one store and one stock record without being miscounted.

It does not cut, dye, design or assemble. It holds the catalogue, the units, the orders and the rules for shipping small and fragile parts.

Modules

What is in the system.

Unit-aware catalogue

Count, length, weight and strand as units, each with conversions.

Code and attribute fields

Shade, size, count, gauge and plating held as searchable data.

Collections and kits

Matching items grouped, and made-up kits sold as one.

Order and pick lists

Orders sorted by shelf, with cut and weighed items marked.

Returns and claims

Wrong-code, short-count and damage claims recorded.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Order by length

A buyer enters metres, the roll is reduced and the bench receives a cut instruction.

Order by collection

A buyer adds a whole collection and the system warns about any missing piece.

Order a kit

A kit order reserves each part and reaches the packer as one list.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Variants and codes

Shade numbers, sizes and materials as options of one item.

Photographs and swatches

Images for each variant, with a note on screen colour.

Conversion tables

Between brands, sizes and units, shown as guidance.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Unit pricing

A price per spool, metre, gram or pack, with breaks for volume.

Minimums and steps

Minimum cut lengths and weights, with a step size.

Trade rates

Agreed prices for tailors, class organisers and shops.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Decimal stock

Rolls and weights are reduced by the exact amount cut or weighed, so the figure on screen matches the figure on the shelf.

Reservation

Stock held for paid orders and for kits.

Small-part packing

Bags, tallies and rigid mailers for items that are easy to lose.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Payments

Checkout online, with invoices for trade accounts.

Returns

Opened bags and cut lengths follow a rule you set, and wrong items are returned in full.

Credit notes

Issued against the order and posted to the buyer’s ledger.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Roles

Counter, packer, desk and owner each get a working view.

Approvals

Large trade orders and price overrides wait for an approver.

Reports

Sales by unit and category, shades out of stock, returns by reason.

Integrations

What it connects to, and on what terms.

Payment partner

Buyers pay online, and recurring charges are added only where your provider supports them.

Counter stock

Linked to your shop software through a file or feed it can produce, after testing.

Carriers

Light parcels and flat items use courier rate cards, and rolls and bulky packs use goods transport.

Accounting

Sales and credit notes exported in the layout your accountant uses.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Running it

Day-to-day hosting is handled by our team under written terms, or by yours if you prefer.

Rollout steps

The order of ranges is agreed in advance, and each step needs your approval.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

What can be altered

How the store appears, the stages of an order and the wording of every notice.

What cannot

Services supplied by others, such as carriers and payment providers, keep their own terms.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Bringing records over

Whatever your present system can export is mapped and loaded, and what it cannot is entered by hand with your staff.

Onboarding

Training is given on the live screens, using orders your team recognises.

Support scope

What support covers.

Handover

Documents, logins and runbooks are given to your team at the end of the build.

Later changes

These are handled as fresh requests with their own estimate.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Is it ready to download and run?

No. It is assembled for each seller after discovery, on the platform that discovery recommends.

Can it keep decimal quantities?

Yes, for the items you mark as cut or weighed. Quantities are held to the precision you choose.

Can it match thread colours?

It suggests the nearest shade from your chart. An exact match cannot be promised, and the page says so.

Do you publish a price?

No. We publish none. The proposal states the cost once your range and units are known.
